They are a B2B business, and they have a number of sales representatives who are always busy generating orders for their retail customers.
Optimizing ERP Access
NetSuite is the primary ERP used to manage their business operations. However, licenses for NetSuite are quite costly and impractical to provide to each of the sales reps who need to use it to create orders.
Our Solutions
We developed a web-based POS portal for Legend Linen, which would allow Legend Linen sales representatives to create sales orders directly into NetSuite without having to purchase a license for it.
Custom POS Portal
Developed a simple yet user-friendly web-based portal using NetSuite's Suitelet, HTML, and JavaScript, enabling sales reps to have a dedicated interface for easy and efficient creation of sales orders.
Sales Order Management
Allows sales reps to select customers, add products, set quantities, apply discounts at the line and order levels, and submit orders directly to NetSuite. It also allows for saving drafts of orders for review and submission at a later time.
Automated Notification
Upon submission of an order, automated emails can be set up to notify the sales rep and internal teams with all details of the order and transaction references.
Low Cost Licensing
By leveraging NetSuite's infrastructure, sales reps can be granted a low-cost license with restricted access, thus saving costs for the company.

High NetSuite Licence Costs
The cost of giving full licence to all sales reps was not viable, as their main role was to produce sales orders.
Lack of a Dedicated Sales Tool
The use of manual methods and/or hacks resulted in delays and increased the risk of errors in data entry.
